The newest addition to Lego's Technic collection is a 1:8 scale model of the McLaren P1 hybrid hypercar – and it doesn't look like Lego is messing around. The attention to detail is staggering. Owners will have to build the McLaren's seven-speed gearbox along with its shifter drum, a V-8 engine with moving pistons, and an adjustable rear wing – among other things. And each Lego P1 comes with a unique serial number with access to exclusive online content.
When assembled, the Lego P1 measures 23 inches long, 9.5 inches wide, and more than 5.5 inches tall. The set includes a staggering 3893 pieces and will cost around $450. Collectors and Lego enthusiasts can get their hands on one starting August 1st.
