Bob Robbins To Receive Lifetime Achievement Award at ACMAs

The Arkansas Country Music Awards announced today (Sunday, January 2) their list of recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award which includes a lot of Arkansans who have been a big part of the Country music scene including our very own Bob Robbins!

The Arkansas Country Music Awards are proud to announce Lefty Frizzell, Floyd Cramer, Mark Wright, and Bob Robbins as the 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award recipients. They will be honored at the annual awards show on Monday, June 6 at the Reynolds Performance Hall on the University of Central Arkansas campus in Conway.

Arkansas Country Music Awards President Nathan Hunnicutt said, "The list of individuals being honored this year speaks volumes. Each, in their own way, has carved out a special part of Arkansas history."

Country music journalist and historian Charles Haymes added, "For an Arkansan in the country field, there is no greater honor in the Natural State than the Lifetime Achievement award. The class of 2022 is yet another incredible mix. From an absolute honky tonk superstar to one of the musicians that helped define the Nashville Sound to a songwriter/producer/record executive that was instrumental in some of country music's biggest recordings to a beloved radio personality, this class is both historic and meaningful."

Bob, along with the rest of this year's recipients, will be honored during the Arkansas Country Music Awards on Monday, June 6th, at the Reynolds Performance Hall on the campus of UCA in Conway. b
