In Fort Wayne, Indiana, a daughter wanted to celebrate her mother's 70th birthday in a special way, so she arranged for a "flower flash mob."
Erica Roberts took her mother, Pat, to the mall on her birthday for a fun shopping trip. But Erica also arranged to have 70 strangers at the mall approach Pat with a carnation – which happens to be her favorite flower.
The daughter and mother strolled the mall and along the way, people kept on approaching Pat, giving her a flower, wishing her a happy birthday and sometimes even giving her a hug.
Erica said she was inspired to do something to create the best day possible for her mom to remind her mom about all the lives she touches each day. (WTHR-TV)
