Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Chris Long wants to celebrate the opportunity he's had to play football for the last 10 years, so he's donating each of his final 10 game checks of this season to charity groups.
Long will be giving the 10 checks to different groups in Philadelphia, Boston and St. Louis, focusing on organizations that help less fortunate kids have better access to education.
Considering his base salary for the year is $1 million, he will be giving away a total of $625,000.
That’s a lot of money going to help a lot of kids. (Sports Illustrated)
