Chris Stapleton, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban and Luke Bryan will be honored tonight (Wednesday) on the annual CMT Artists of the Yeartelecast.
Following the recent hurricanes, the California wildfires and the Las Vegas shootings, this year's honorees will forego the usual award presentations and acceptance speeches to offer messages of hope and healing instead.
The show's open will feature Andra Day singing her inspiring anthem "Rise Up" with Little Big Town. She'll also perform her collaboration "Stand Up for Something" with rapper Common. They'll be joined by Lee Ann Womack and Little Big Town.
