Two staffers at the Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida have been given the boot after they were photographed making inappropriate gestures with an infant and making a newborn dance to a hip-hop video. The photos were posted on Snapchat and then went viral on social media.
A statement from the Naval Hospital Jacksonville posted on Facebook called the action "outrageous, unacceptable, incredibly unprofessional, and cannot be tolerated." It added that those involved were not nurses but "two junior enlisted corpsman" who "have been removed from providing patient care and they will be handled by the legal system and military justice. We've notified the patient's parents."
In one posted photo, one of the staffers is reportedly captured flipping the bird at an infant, along with the caption, "How I currently feel about these mini Satans." In another post, the staffer moves a baby's body so it appears they are dancing to hip-hop music. (Fox News)
