The Gulf Coast, from Texas to Florida, is bracing for the impact from Tropical Storm Cindy.
The slow-moving storm formed yesterday just south of Louisiana and is already dumping a lot of rain and causing dangerously high tides. Maximum sustained winds are near 60 miles per hour, but the biggest threat from the storm is expected to be the rain. Forecasters warn of up to a foot of rain in some areas. There are already reports of flash flooding including one in Georgia where 30 people had to be rescued from rising floodwater. (CBS News)
