A woman in Queens, New York, gave birth in the back of a car on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, with help from an NYPD officer and the Uber driver who picked her up.
The woman called for a ride from a driver who only joined Uber six months ago and wanted to go to the hospital with her two-year-old daughter.
Sure enough, she went into labor along the way.
The driver had the two-year-old sit in the front passenger seat and gave the mother some towels in the back seat.
Luckily, officer Raphael Mohammed came along to help deliver the baby. Making matters even more complicated, the baby was breech. But Officer Mohammed, a former paramedic, was able to sort things out and deliver the baby safely, even if it wasn’t under the best of circumstances. (KTRK-TV)
