Allan V. Evans lives in Colorado, but he believes he should inhabit an historic estate in Great Britain and rule as the rightful King of England.
Evans claims to be a direct descendant of a royal Welsh family line going back to the 3rd century and has done quite a bit of research to prove it. He recently took out an ad in the The Times of London explaining how, in 30 days, he will take possession of all 17 estates and assets that he believes belong to his family. He also says he will "pursue an injustice of history by claiming by right the Throne and Sovereign Crown of Great Britain at Westminster."
But there's good news for Queen Elizabeth II. Evans says he will not seek to depose Her Majesty out of respect. Instead, he will wait for her to die and then assume the crown. (The Sun)
