A Virginia couple recently celebrated their 20th anniversary and Scott Chafian is going to have a hard time topping the special gift he gave his wive Cindy.
They celebrated the milestone anniversary in the hospital where Scott gave Cindy a kidney.
Cindy suffers from kidney disease and had been on dialysis for two years. When her health deteriorated, Scott had himself tested and found out he was a donor match.
The four-hour surgery was a success and Scott said, "Just the difference already, just the light she’s got back in her eyes. I don’t even have words for it." (WTVR-TV Richmond, VA)
