Based on Google search volume, these are the most popular fast food restaurants in each state.
McDonald's was #1 by a large margin with 26 states -mainly in the midwest - including Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, West Virginia.
Domino's was next with 15 states - most in the south and west - like Texas, North Carolina, Louisiana and Oregon.
In third was Starbucks holding down California, Washington state, Nevada and New Mexico.
Tied for fourth with one state each was Chick-Fil-A was (Georgia) followed by Pizza Hut (Kansas), Dunkin (Massachusetts) and Culvers (Wisconsin).
The question is - what happened to Burger King? Wendy's? I'd love to see how this map would look if it was JUST fast food burger joints.
