Carly Pearce shared a heartfelt moment with a fan who was mourning the loss of her father. The award-winning country star posted a video of her performance on her social media channels, as she sang “Show Me Around” during a recent concert in Oklahoma.

Pearce released “Show Me Around” on 29: Written in Stone, an emotional ballad that serves as a tribute to her late producer, Busbee, “who passed away from terminal brain cancer,” she previously shared. The late Nashville music producer and songwriter, known professionally as Busbee, died in 2019. He was 43.

“When I started to sing this song, this beautiful girl told me that she lost her dad,” Pearce shared in the video, which shows the country star crossing the stage to kneel in front of the concertgoer and sing the song directly to her while holding her hand. “Watching her sing these words to him really touched me. I’m thankful so many of you have found comfort in this song.

“I bet you're up there right now makin' plans and writin' out/ All your favorite places that you just can't wait to take us/ And we'll get to spend forever talkin' 'bout whatever/ When I get there, promise you'll track me down/ And show me around.”
