Morgan Evans is slated to kick off the first leg of his “Life Upside Down Tour” next month. The Australian-born country singer-songwriter posted his list of performance dates on his social media channels on Tuesday (May 16), including a few shows with fellow country artist Billy Currington.

Evans’ tour announcement comes shortly after the release of his 5-track EP by the same name, which became available last month. The collection included “Over For You” — including a live rendition in Melbourne — “On My Own Again,” “Hey Little Mama” and “All Right Here,” as Evans chronicled his life after divorce. He said he titled his EP Life Upside Down because “my life felt exactly that. To me, these 5 tracks journey through unexpected heartbreak, self-rediscovery, new beginnings and a new found gratitude for the present moment.”

“It’s a collection of songs that could only have come from this time in my life,” he wrote in an Instagram caption shortly before releasing the EP. “After the heaviness of Over For You and On My Own Again, the two new tunes coming this Friday, ‘Hey Little Mama’ and ‘All Right Here’ are, quite possibly, the two most joyful sounding records I’ve ever made. They’re about finding light in the dark and finding gratitude in the little things, which as we all know are actually the big things!”
