Remember Virginia McLaurin of Washington, D.C.? She celebrated her 107th birthday last year at the White House with President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama. Then she celebrated with the Harlem Globetrotters.
Well, she's still around and celebrating her 108th birthday, and the Globetrotters weren't going to miss another party.
The touring basketball act honored Virginia at a local school where they spoke to the students about the positive attributes that she demonstrates. They also taught her how to spin a basketball on her finger, which she said was the highlight of her day.
Last year, the Globetrotters donated 107 tickets to the students at this school. This year, 108 of them will get to go for free. The team told Virginia they'll celebrate with her again next year.
