Earlier this week, there was a huge avalanche in central Italy, so for days rescue services have been scrambling to search for possible victims and help those in need.
During their search, some firefighters found three adorable Abruzzo sheepdog puppies and were able to pull them to safety.
The one-month-old puppies had apparently survived for five days in an air pocket at a hotel that was buried by snow.
Amazingly, all three were in good condition as firefighters loaded them into an emergency vehicle.
And, as an added bonus, the rescue lifted the spirits of the crew, who had been working around the clock trying to get things back to normal. (Washington Post)
