Pete Davidson Named In Police Report Where Friend Gets Arrested For Drugs

A police report lists Pete Davidson as the driver in a recent traffic stop, though it was his passenger friend who ended up in the slammer.

According to reports from Upstate New York, the Saturday Night Live star's pal, Jeremy Gay, Jr., was arrested for allegedly having marijuana and concentrated cannabis in his possession, the latter offense is considered a fourth-degree felony.

Davidson was reportedly given and passed a field sobriety test. He was not charged with a crime.

The bust transpired on August 11 at approximately 4:25 a.m. when Manlius police stopped the 24-year-old comedian on Salt Springs Road in Fayetteville, New York — possibly after catching a whiff of weed from the car. It is still unclear who the vehicle belonged to.

As of late, Davidson is apparently in the Syracuse area with fellow comic Joey Gay filming for the coming-of-age film Big Time Adolescence, an American High production that follows a teen falling to the bad influence of his college dropout friend.

Joey may have also been a witness to the arrest according to video footage he uploaded to Instagram a week ago, in which he can be heard saying, "We are not going to make it to Wegman's because of the police."
